stretched canvas

Stretched canvas prints can be made from any form of origination- either negatives, transparencies, digital files or flat artwork. All are printed on the highest quality 340gsm cotton canvas and are hand stretched around a 38mm deep frame. These prints, as with all our products are fully archival and printed using epson ultrachrome inks with matte black for maximum visual impact. As they are stretched by hand, corners are neatly tucked and folded for the neatest possible finish. Please note the image usually covers the front area only, but we can provide images wrapped over the side of the bars on request. For durability it is recommended that this style has a matt hot-press seal applied which prevents any rubbing of the image on the folds and corners. The additional cost of this can be found in our mounting prices under 'gloss seal'. Hot press seals are water resistant and non-reactive which provides an excellent wipe clean finish should you also wish to hang your canvas print in areas such as kitchens or bathrooms. Prices listed are for standard sizes, but all stretcher bar lengths are interchangeable, meaning a vast array of non-standard sizes such as panoramic or square can be catered for which we can quote individually. Stretcher bars are available in 8, 10, 12, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 36, 40, 48, 60 and 72 inch lengths. Anything falling outside of these sizes can still be produced on a made to measure basis costing an additional 20%. Please allow 5 working days for standard canvas, and 10 working days for sealed canvas prints.
