Staff at The Vault develop and process different types of film used by pro photographers. Professional photographers expect consistent results from the films they use which also require consistency from a pro photo lab. The Vault has years of experience working regularly with pro photographers and therefore have an excellent understanding of different types of film and how to get the best results that you need. Film technology is very advanced. There are fast films of 400ASA which now have fine grain characteristics of slower 100ASA films. Although film appears to be sidelined by the excessive talk and praise for digital, there are particular types of photography for which certain films are better suited than digital cameras. Of course, there are many arguments for and against.
